
Thanks for your interest in The Brusly Fire Department Web Site! I’m
Assistant Fire Chief Kenny Hunts. I’m on Duty Monday through Thursday from
7 a.m. till 5 p.m.. I also respond with the Volunteers when I’m off duty. We
have a great fire department consisting of 34 firefighters including 6 females,
3 trainee members, Fire Chief Mike Alleman, Myself, Captains Tim
Robicheaux and Jim Robnett, Lts. Erin Cavalier and Scott Rodrigue, Contract
Firefighters Alan Bourgeois, Jonathan Robinson, Randolph “Scotty” Doyle,
Mike Parrault, “BAD” Brad Waldrep. On duty fulltime with me is Lt. Erin
Cavalier and Firefighter Robert “Chip” Diamond who also work 10 hour shifts
assisted by the contract firefighters. We are a very proactive fire department.
We strive to achieve an aggressive prevention program which consists of an
8-step injury prevention program called “Risk Watch” , sponsored by the
National Fire Protection Association. In addition, Our department spends lots
of time doing commercial business inspections, participation in safety town,
fire and safety instruction and informational talks and of course training our
own firefighters constantly on fire safety and attack. We are constantly
updating our fleet to bring the latest technology to our coverage area. We take
pride in our professionalism and our sincere care of your needs. If we can
